DK 06 Fortnite Tournament

We now have 11 teams signed up for our upcoming DK06 Fortnite Tournament!

DK 06 is for amateur teams from all over Oceania & it’s taking place on the 14th of January @ 4PM Sydney time!

The Tournament is 4 rounds of Battle Royale and free to enter with $250 going to the winning team and $150 to 2nd place!

We are over the moon to announce that BTH Trojan will be providing a live stream on his Twitch & Facebook account to cover our upcoming DK 06 Fortnite Tournament!

Trojan is an offical partner of Division Kings, as the founder of Bring The Heat and we can’t wait to see him stream his first Tournament on behalf of our team!

DK Weekly update – 19th December 2022

What a week it has been for Division Kings eSports! We have hosted 2 tournaments this week, DK 03 on Apex & DK 04 on Fortnite!

DK 03 provided an epic game on Apex once again! Team TSK played the game as a DUO and played an incredibly smart game! They were waiting until the final circle before getting into a fight knowing that they were a member down. They pounced upon ADAL Wolves who had just wiped the 3rd to last squad and was regrouping when TSK rushed them. ADAL unfortunately, did have a DC during that fight, but take no credit away from TSK who executed their game plan brilliantly and took away the $600 cash prize! Well played to ADAL who finished with an incredible 21 kills! Our Tournament was hosted by GibbyGobbleYT who did an amazing job on his first casting role! We look forward to watching more Tournaments streamed live by Gibbi!

DK 04 was our first ever Tournament we hosted on Fortnite and it was bumpy to say the least! The first round had to be wiped due to 2 squads teaming up, however the admin team worked swiftly to find these teamers and kick them out of the game. Once underway, there was a wicked 2-horse race between FSC & The Jogging Baboons which ended up with FSC just finishing first with an epic 35-point 4th round result! The game saw our partners team GBA finish 3rd with an impressive 24 points & our other partners BTH finish 7th with a respectable 13 points in their first tournament together!

What’s next for Division Kings?

This week we have even more exciting things happening! As always Division Kings are exploring new and exciting ways to bring good vibes and further expand our operations in the Oceania eSports Community!

Division Kings are currently in the process of creating our first ever Podcast! We will be providing information on who we are at Division Kings, what our plans are for the future of eSports & also bring you updates on our Tournaments, news, and eSports news from all over Oceania. You will soon see a new page open on the website and that is where you will find our most recent Podcasts! Watch this space!

We are excited to announce the upcoming release of Divisions! We are introducing 6 Divisions to the Oceania eSports Community! There will be 3 Divisions on COD MWII (Singles, Duos & Trios) & 3 Divisions on Rocket League (Singles, Duos & Trios). In Divisions you can practice your skills and climb the division to gain the top spot! You can challenge other teams to climb the ladder! Season 1 will begin on the 1st of January 2023 & run until the end of March 2023!

DK 03 Apex Tournament changed date!

The date of our upcoming DK 03 has been changed from the 17th to the 16th due to Apex’s request because of the ALG’s. It will also start at 8PM Sydney time! Here we go! It’s finally here! Following on from Division Kings successful start to hosting tournaments on Apex Legends, we are now expanding our reach by announcing our first ever Tournament on Fortnite!

DK 03 Apex Tournament Released!

Christmas has come early for the Division Kings eSports community, with the announcement of our 3rd Oceania Apex Tournament!

Our DK03, Battle Royale, 1 & done Tournament, will be held on the 17-12-2022, starting at 6PM AEDT (Sydney time). Read below for more details regarding DK 03! 3 Teams have already signed up!

    DK 01 Winner – Team Murasaki!

    Congratulations to Team Murasaki who won DK 01 Tournament in association with Gamers Battle Arena on Apex Legends! Team Ali were a close second, but Murasaki took home the W & the $300 Prize pool!

    What happened on the night?

    The game started slow with barely any clashes in the first few minutes as teams landed safely and began looting. However, within a few minutes of the 2nd ring countdown, teams began clashing and the game turned hectic! Team Murasaki were always leading the kills with an impressive team performance which included Heckk leading and finishing the game as kill leader.

    DK streamed the event live on our Twitch Channel and hit an impressive 28 viewers, but unfortunately our stream got hit with lag, audio issues and even a cheeky game disconnect! Looks like we finally have an excuse to upgrade to a new console/PC! Thankfully this did not affect the game and the Tournament continued. When we managed to re-join, there was only 3 team’s remaining, CatJAM, Agent ALI & Team Murasaki with the latter coming out on top in a final epic showdown with Agent ALI.

    As you can see by the picture on the left, Team Murasaki (Team 8) deserved their win on the night! Agent ALI, CatJAM & Team 17 all impressed with most of the kills accounted for between the teams! Well done to Team Murasaki who impressed during DK 01 and will be sure to feature in more upcoming Tournaments after taking home the $300!

    What’s next for Division Kings Tournaments?

    Following a very successful and event filled night, DK are now looking forward to the next Tournament! We haven’t set a date, however the Tournament is expected to be planned within a Fortnight & will again involve a one and done, Apex Battle Royale Tournament for Oceania players.

    Division Kings are now personally looking at upgrading their systems, to ensure a repeat of the issues we had during streaming will not occur again. Thank you to all those who watched the stream and were patient with the technical difficulties we faced! All part of teething!

    1 day until DK 01 – Division Kings first eSports Tournament on Apex Legends for Oceania!

    Only 1 day left now until the first Tournament, which will be hosted by Division Kings eSports in association with Gamers Battle Arena on Apex Legends!

    The following information has been released by Division Kings:

    • The Map will be World’s Edge
    • Teams will receive their lobby code 2 hours before the start of the Tournament via the team email your team provided.
    • Teams are expected to be in the Lobby 10 minutes before start time.
    • Team’s will be allowed a 15 minutes grace period but please ensure you are in the lobby before 1800 AEST.
    • The Tournament will be started at 18:16 AEST regardless if teams are missing and not ready.
    • The winner team will be contacted by DK Admin via email regarding payment details.
    • Rules have been released and can be found at the bottom of the DK 01 Tournament page.
    • Roster changes & registration has now ended. You can not change your Team or its members.

    Can we watch the game live?

    Absolutely! we will be streaming the game through our Twitch Channel & directly on DK TV. If you are a team participating in the Tournament and wish not to be streamed live, please let us know in advance through our socials, or email tournaments@divisionkings.com and we will ensure you are not recorded during the Tournament.

    DK01 Apex Tournament

    In 6 days time, we will be hosting a full 60 player Battle Royale game, 20 teams, 1 winner that takes all! Free entry with a $300 purse!
